HISTORY

The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc.

The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. founded in 1935, emerged as a national non-profit organization in light of the need to promote and protect the interests of women business owners and professionals.

The Midland Business and Professional Women's Club of Midland, Inc.

The aim of the Midland Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc. is to attract women of high caliber to engage in multiple areas of our community. We strive to implement seminars and workshops covering a variety of subjects, which will help other community-based non-profit organizations become aware of our local resources.

Engage in charitable activities under the direction of the program committee that are consistent with our charitable purpose.

Leading Our Youth

Our club members are extraordinary women who not only strive to improve our community but to serve as role models and mentors to our youth.

Additionally, our club maintains a scholarship program whereby aspiring young students are encouraged to pursue higher education without the heavy financial burden funded by the efforts of the membership and grants.

Community Involvement

The Midland Business and Professional Women's Club, Inc. aims to act as an open resource to the community, in general, that is consistent with and promotes our organization's purpose. Additionally, we hope to foster the individual growth of self-image, knowledge, and awareness.

From celebrating Martin Luther King Day to hosting candidate forums, our goal is educational and charitable.
