The 2026 Scholarship is NOW Open!

 We, the Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club of Midland, through our various community service projects and activities, strive to be a positive and productive influence within our community. One way we accomplish this is by awarding scholarships to high school graduates in Midland County. If you are interested in seeking this distinguished award, please click on the link below to complete and submit your application. All applicants will be required to submit the following information/verifications: 

• Student Status: A currently enrolled or recently graduated student from a school in Midland County, Texas; 
• Student Intent or Attending:  an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree, or seeking a certification/professional certification;    
• GPA: A minimum cumulative GPA of  2.5 or higher upon application;   
• Complete the Scholarship Application, including the essay, and submit all required documents; 
• Required Documents: An Official High School Transcript, A Letter of Recommendation from a Teacher, and A Letter of Recommendation from a Community Leader; 
• A Professional Headshot (preferably a yearbook photo);
• Attend our Scholarship Luncheon on May 2, 2026, if you are awarded a scholarship.

The application contains further details and the required basic information. All further correspondence, awards and/or agreements will be generated from the information entered in the application. The Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club of Midland's  Scholarship Committee will review all applications and awards will be given based on merit. All awardees will be notified on or before April 24, 2026.
